How is it August already? I know, I know. I've abandoned the very few, if any, readers that I have. ALL WILL BE REVEALED!
Short summary for now as I have two tests tomorrow and chair placement coming up.
1.) No longer 15, turned 16 in June
2.) Two sports for fall semester
3.) Where my mind's at now
4.) Summer
Get ready, because a word vomit will be coming your way soon!
How a 15 year old gets through sports, life, and of course, high school. Or tries to...

So much has happened that I do not even know where to begin.
First off, I finished my AP Biology test, which was actually much better than the practice tests.
Second, the always wonderful CST's are done. Thank. God.
Third, my school next year is going to suck. So. Hard.
Now that the educational crap is out of the way, on to sports!
Football:
Oh, shit. Where to begin? We made into the playoffs for the first time ever. Against a school who had beaten us 53-14 previously. We lost. In the first round, 49-7. Yup. BUT WAIT!
Our school fired our coach. Our school has managed to alienate me in a very personal manner, getting rid of my first football coach. He tried so hard to help us succeed. He did fund raisers, morning practices, dragging players from his team to our practices. And our school f*cked him over. Big time. He is not even allowed back on campus. Our other coaches got black balled from still coaching at our school.
The new coach used to coach one of the teams we had played against. He keeps referring to our old coach as an "asshole," which really bothers me. How does he know that he is an asshole? Did he play for the guy? Marry the guy? No! We have been having "screenings," which means that everybody is accepted onto the team as long as they keep showing up. I am so embarassed. We did sprints on Monday, which I AM STILL sore from. I lost all my leg muscle mass for sprints during swim season. I am not the slowest person out there, not by far (even excluding the linemen). I am mediocre, which is not okay with me. It really bothers me when I only do ok or poorly on something and somebody goes "It's ok, you're a girl." Excuse me? I still can do so many more things you cannot. Half of these people cannot even run a mile. I am pretty sure I would beat nearly every one of the boys out there in a timed mile. Which brings me to my next point....
My mom really does not want me playing football. She wants me to do cross-country instead. This actually makes more sense, seeing as I have three AP's next year, and my knee is still a bit screwed up. I have a far greater chance at getting a scholarship in cross-country than getting one as a kicker.
Soccer:
We finished second in our league. AGAIN. To Northridge. AGAIN. The surprising team this year turned out to be Fulton, who has one amazing player that is already being scouted by UCLA. My season was not that great. Far fewer goals, and a bit of a disappointing performance overall. The only thing that reallly improved were my free kicks and corner kicks. I was making goals from 40 yards out. Football kicking probably screwed up my knee quite a bit, but it most definitely helped with my leg strength.
We were eliminated in the second round of playoffs. AGAIN. We were ranked 7th. Last year we were ranked 3rd. We lost to Northridge in playoffs. Our team just ran out of gas, I guess.
Swim:
By far the most successful sport I was in this schoolyear. We also got second in our league, but just barely to Verdugo Hills. I was swimming the 100 Free, 50 Free, and the 200 Free Relay. My 100 times were coming in at about 1:17-1:18 in the very beginning of the season. I had not swam laps or competitively for over 5 years before deciding to join my school swim team. I should not have worried. I placed 2nd, 3rd, or 4th in the 100 Free. I was also placed in a 4x100 Free Relay, in which we either got first or second in. I got us a lead of about half a lane. In the League finals, I got last out of the 3rd and fastest heat with an improved time of about 32.9 (please don't laugh!). I dropped about a second from any of my other bests. I was in lane 2.
For the 100 Free, I was placed in lane 7. The very last lane. But 7 is my go to number. I placed 4th with a time of 1:14.something! I dropped about 4 seconds!
All in all, it was a very successful season, even if I did not make City. Next year!

First Post of 2012!
This is my absolute first post of 2012! Long overdue, but still--it's up!
Every single time I go to type something for here, I always have homework, projects or studying. My goal is to get at least one paragraph down every week. The hardest part about this is actually to start writing. Once your fingers start going, you are okay.
So much to report. I'm not sure where to start, but I will save it for next time, possibly later today. It sort of feels as if I have been slapped across the face and somersaulted in dark, cold water. I know I am not making much sense now, but I promise i will later. Some topics you will see next time:
1) Football Season
a) Problems
2)Soccer Season
3) Swim Season
4) Riding
5) School
a) Friend Problems
