How is it August already? I know, I know. I've abandoned the very few, if any, readers that I have. ALL WILL BE REVEALED!
Short summary for now as I have two tests tomorrow and chair placement coming up.
1.) No longer 15, turned 16 in June
2.) Two sports for fall semester
3.) Where my mind's at now
4.) Summer
Get ready, because a word vomit will be coming your way soon!

So much has happened that I do not even know where to begin.
First off, I finished my AP Biology test, which was actually much better than the practice tests.
Second, the always wonderful CST's are done. Thank. God.
Third, my school next year is going to suck. So. Hard.
Now that the educational crap is out of the way, on to sports!
Football:
Oh, shit. Where to begin? We made into the playoffs for the first time ever. Against a school who had beaten us 53-14 previously. We lost. In the first round, 49-7. Yup. BUT WAIT!
Our school fired our coach. Our school has managed to alienate me in a very personal manner, getting rid of my first football coach. He tried so hard to help us succeed. He did fund raisers, morning practices, dragging players from his team to our practices. And our school f*cked him over. Big time. He is not even allowed back on campus. Our other coaches got black balled from still coaching at our school.
The new coach used to coach one of the teams we had played against. He keeps referring to our old coach as an "asshole," which really bothers me. How does he know that he is an asshole? Did he play for the guy? Marry the guy? No! We have been having "screenings," which means that everybody is accepted onto the team as long as they keep showing up. I am so embarassed. We did sprints on Monday, which I AM STILL sore from. I lost all my leg muscle mass for sprints during swim season. I am not the slowest person out there, not by far (even excluding the linemen). I am mediocre, which is not okay with me. It really bothers me when I only do ok or poorly on something and somebody goes "It's ok, you're a girl." Excuse me? I still can do so many more things you cannot. Half of these people cannot even run a mile. I am pretty sure I would beat nearly every one of the boys out there in a timed mile. Which brings me to my next point....
My mom really does not want me playing football. She wants me to do cross-country instead. This actually makes more sense, seeing as I have three AP's next year, and my knee is still a bit screwed up. I have a far greater chance at getting a scholarship in cross-country than getting one as a kicker.
Soccer:
We finished second in our league. AGAIN. To Northridge. AGAIN. The surprising team this year turned out to be Fulton, who has one amazing player that is already being scouted by UCLA. My season was not that great. Far fewer goals, and a bit of a disappointing performance overall. The only thing that reallly improved were my free kicks and corner kicks. I was making goals from 40 yards out. Football kicking probably screwed up my knee quite a bit, but it most definitely helped with my leg strength.
We were eliminated in the second round of playoffs. AGAIN. We were ranked 7th. Last year we were ranked 3rd. We lost to Northridge in playoffs. Our team just ran out of gas, I guess.
Swim:
By far the most successful sport I was in this schoolyear. We also got second in our league, but just barely to Verdugo Hills. I was swimming the 100 Free, 50 Free, and the 200 Free Relay. My 100 times were coming in at about 1:17-1:18 in the very beginning of the season. I had not swam laps or competitively for over 5 years before deciding to join my school swim team. I should not have worried. I placed 2nd, 3rd, or 4th in the 100 Free. I was also placed in a 4x100 Free Relay, in which we either got first or second in. I got us a lead of about half a lane. In the League finals, I got last out of the 3rd and fastest heat with an improved time of about 32.9 (please don't laugh!). I dropped about a second from any of my other bests. I was in lane 2.
For the 100 Free, I was placed in lane 7. The very last lane. But 7 is my go to number. I placed 4th with a time of 1:14.something! I dropped about 4 seconds!
All in all, it was a very successful season, even if I did not make City. Next year!

First Post of 2012!
This is my absolute first post of 2012! Long overdue, but still--it's up!
Every single time I go to type something for here, I always have homework, projects or studying. My goal is to get at least one paragraph down every week. The hardest part about this is actually to start writing. Once your fingers start going, you are okay.
So much to report. I'm not sure where to start, but I will save it for next time, possibly later today. It sort of feels as if I have been slapped across the face and somersaulted in dark, cold water. I know I am not making much sense now, but I promise i will later. Some topics you will see next time:
1) Football Season
a) Problems
2)Soccer Season
3) Swim Season
4) Riding
5) School
a) Friend Problems

Tumblr
Yes, I have delved into the murky world of cyberspace. Here's my tumblr!
sweatpainwork.tumblr.com
Feel free to explore, comment, or even give me some ideas, pictures, thoughts, etc.
I am now on winter break. In one sense, it has been long overdue. In another, I cannot believe how quickly this year has gone by. I really think that all the sports I am playing make my time fly!
Any of you have a Christmas wish list? I have one! Here is a couple of my wants/needs/got-to-have-em's
1.) Riding Lessons
2.) New Soccer Ball (My last "virgin" one unfortunately has a presumed hole and is leaking air)
3.) A vacation to somewhere warm!
It has been sooooo cold in CA! Definitely not Cali weather. At our last game (we won, 2-1!) it started pouring and thundering. Been a while since I have played in the rain.
Another update: I went to a party whose experience definitely needs to be shared. I will write more on that later!

Everybody Seems to Have Problems, But Me
Let me tell you now, stop reading this if you value your time and would like your life to remain peaceful and happy.
There, if you're still reading it, you must be bored, stupid, or feeling like a bitch. And oh, yes, this will contain profanity. I usually try to limit myself, but I need to let something out before it explodes (that's what she said).
> Yes, that is what even 15 year old girls think when they hear stuff like that.
People love to complain to other people about their problems. I GET IT! I do this all of the time. Doesn't matter if it's the creepy hobo on the street corner or my dog, I tell everybody. But I usually tell them what the problem is. I hate it when people say they have a problem and complain to you for an hour straight and then tell you that you would not understand their problem.
I think I would. I just listened to you complain FOR AN HOUR about it. I think I would get it, I truly do.
However, I rest my case. Our football season ended. No championships. It was the first time our team made it to the playoffs, which was nice. I truly think that next year our team has a real shot at winning the championships next year. It makes me pretty sad knowing that we won't have some of our seniors next year. I am so happy that I played on that team.
I also ran the Spartan Race this weekend. I did it at night. It was cold, bruising, and an incredible amount of fun.
Now, here's a song to remind me to be a teenager (even if I do not go out and smoke weed, this song relaxes me...)

Our soccer team has been finalized. I am not really happy with the selections made for varsity, but I'll work with what I've got. Since my sister has a concussion, I'll have to play sweeper and let somebody else take my right-wing striker position for not until she comes back in January. I'll talk more about the team in the next post.
We have a scrimmage this Tuesday against Community Charter, whom we beat 4-0 last year if I remember correctly. Our season starts in January or February, so this is a pre-season warmup game.
So, despite tests, homework, problems, and the occasional hormone shift, just have fun! Doing the Spartan Race made me happy and have fun. I didn't know if I was in shape to run it before I did it, but I got the ticket for free and ran with some people for the football team. I had an incredible time and know not to worry about being in shape unless I do the timed heat instead of the Hurricane Heat. We had to wear headlamps, but I will definitely try to talk about this tomorrow.
Schedule for this week:
Fill out Earthwatch application (Due Nov. 30)
Monday: English SAT Vocab Test, Flute Lesson
Tuesday: Scrimmage
Wednesday: HUGE Bio Test, Band Test
Thursday: Thanksgiving (almost forgot about it!)
Friday: Will be in a happy-food coma

Sloowww
Things have slowed down a bit, which is extremely nice. This Tuesday was a 12:30 dismissal, and our school had food trucks that came out. They had a Kogi foodtruck (korean BBQ), a shaved ice truck, and a french fry truck that made exotic french fries. I ended up getting a short-rib taco from the Kogi truck and a watermelon and lemon-lime shaved ice. My sister and I took the Orange Line home with one of our friends. As we were sitting down, a kid with a skateboard came on the bus, pulled out and X-Acto knife and tagged the plastic panel of the bus directly above our heads. With a few quick slices, he sat down and got off at the next stop.
But still, I just watched in awe over his ass-holish-ness. Every time his stupid knife bit into the soft plastic with a "schick" sound, it made me feel sick. What kind of jerk defaces property like that? I'm still pretty mad I didn't say anything, even after he got off the bus.
My football game this week is on Saturday. Luckily, I have practice Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. I really need to work on my punt and on leaving the floor with both feet. I know I have a better kick than the one I'm putting out. Same with my kick-offs. Unfortunately, I might have to wear my helmet in practice, b/c I felt horribly off-balance when kicking with it on. I haven't worn it in practice for about a month.
Ooh, and Thanksgiving and Christmas are coming up (yes, I know, Halloween just happened, but I get excited!) I'll probably post a Christmas list soon.

I Am a LIAR!
I know that I said that I'd write on Thursday about two weeks ago, but what can I say? This week is crazy, but I'll try to write as much as possible. Here's why it's crazy:
Math Test (Today)/Football/Soccer
Football (Tuesday)/English Project Due/Soccer
English Project (Wednesday)/HUGE AP Bio Test/Soccer/Football
Football/Soccer (Thursday)
HOMECOMING! (Friday!)
If I survive this week, it will be a miracle.
Oh yeah, and I'm super sick. Woo-hoo!
